Meridian Tapping EFT

What is Meridian Tapping?
Meridian Tapping is a psychological acupressure technique used to aid in the healing of emotional disturbances, addictions, fears, anxieties, PTSD, traumatic memories, weight loss, smoking, negative emotions, and more.  Once this technique is taught, it can be used as a self healing or self regulating emotional tool at home, in the office, or at the mall.
It requires no physical contact with the practitioner.  Your practitioner will help you narrow down and develop a tapping strategy, train you in how to tap, help you develop your tapping statements, and tap with you.  Your tapping practitioner is a professional and any and all information discussed is strictly confidential.

What is tapped and what are tapping points?
Meridian tapping is the process of using your fingertips to tap specific pressure points along your central nervous systems energy meridians.  These points have been used in acupuncture and acupressure since ancient times.  The points used for psychotherapy are points on your head, face, chest, arms, and hands.  The fingertips are also pressure points that work in conjunction with the specific tapping points to create the positive results in our thought structures.  Tapping is gentle and effective at stimulating the tapping pressure points to gain the desired results and should cause no pain.  Some results will be felt immediately, some will uncover other issues that will then need to be tapped.

What is a tapping session like?
During a tapping session you will want to dress comfortably.  Nothing is needed but drinking water before a treatment and after a treatment is recommended.  Water conducts electricity and we are tapping electrical energy points.
Your practitioner will ask you many questions and when the 'tapping statements' are finally ready, you will begin the tapping sequence following along with your practitioner.   Your practitioner will ask you to rate the level of stress of the incident or memory before and after tapping until you reach a complete level of comfort.  Most issues can be relieved in one or a few sessions.

Your practitioner will most likely ask you to update her on any changes after your session.  All records will be kept confidential.

Can anything bad happen?
If it doesn't work for you, nothing will have changed. No one but you can do this. You know your comfort level and will not be pushed to do anything you don't feel comfortable with.  Your practitioner will teach you how to do this yourself.  At your pace.  Your practitioner will provide reference material for you to research at home.
